Our Services

Tinnitus Management

Tinnitus, commonly known as “ringing in the ears,” affects millions of Americans. Tinnitus is described as hearing a ringing, humming, whistling, or whooshing sound in your ears when no external sound is present. We carry hearing aids that have a tinnitus masking features that can help distract your brain from the ringing in your ears.

Cognivue: Cognitive Screening

Hearing ability is the number one modifiable risk factor for cognitive decline. People with untreated hearing loss experience a 30%-40% greater decline in cognitive abilities and an increased risk of developing dementia. Because your hearing ability is so deeply connected to your brain health, we offer Cognivue screening.

Cognivue screening is a five-minute, self-administered test that evaluates three cognitive functions: memory, visuospatial, and executive function as well as reaction time and speed processing. This screening is a major step toward identifying cognitive decline caused by depression, anxiety, and hearing loss. To learn more about Cognivue, please contact us.

Custom-Fit Hearing Protection

Exposure to loud sounds is a common cause of hearing loss. It is crucial to protect your ears when you cannot avoid loud noises. We can take custom molds of your ears to create custom earplugs for noise protection.

Assistive Listening Devices

Hearing aids are not the best solution for all patients, and for some patients, they may not completely solve the problem. Assistive Listening Devices make it easier for you to hear and understand in specific situations, such as phone calls or watching TV. They may also be budget-friendly alternatives to hearing aids for people who only need a little amplification to hear better.

Video Otoscopy

Using a video otoscope, we are able to look at the inside of your ear at your ear canal and eardrum. The otoscope we use has a video camera on it that can transmit images to a larger screen for magnification. This allows us to have a clearer and larger view of your ear and allows you to see what we see. Video otoscopy is used to detect earwax build-up or to look for signs of ear infection.

Real Ear Measurement

If the results of your audiogram determine you could be helped by hearing aids, our hearing specialists use real ear measurement to ensure your devices are fit precisely to your needs. Real ear measurement involves placing a small microphone in the patient’s ear canal to measure the sound levels of their hearing aids. This allows our hearing specialists to fine-tune the settings of the device to ensure it is providing the optimal level of amplification for your prescriptive needs.
