Revolution Hearing and the NFL Players Association: What It Means for Patients

You might not expect a hearing care provider to have a relationship with the NFL. But the connection makes more sense than it might seem at first.

Why the NFL Partnership Matters

Revolution Hearing is a preferred provider for the NFL Players Association and the NFL Player Assistance Fund (NFL PAF). These organizations support current and former NFL players and their families, many of whom deal with hearing loss and tinnitus related to years of noise exposure on and off the field.

For our patients, the NFL NFLPA partnership is a signal about the level of care we provide. Organizations like the NFLPA vet their preferred providers carefully. Becoming one requires demonstrating clinical quality, consistent outcomes, and a patient-first approach.

It also reflects something true about who we serve: hearing loss does not discriminate by background, profession, or lifestyle. It affects adults in every walk of life, and it deserves the same level of attention and expert care regardless of who you are.

What Noise Exposure Has to Do With It

Noise-induced hearing loss is one of the most common types, and it is not limited to athletes. Factory workers, military veterans, musicians, farmers, and anyone who worked in a loud environment for years is at risk. Even years of concerts, power tools, or recreational shooting can contribute to cumulative hearing loss.

The NFL PAF connection highlights something important: people who spent their careers in loud environments often reach their 50s and 60s with hearing loss that has been building for decades. Getting evaluated sooner rather than later gives them more options.

What This Means for Your Insurance Coverage

Revolution Hearing accepts Medicare Advantage and works with most major insurance plans across Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, and New York. Our team verifies benefits before your appointment so you walk in knowing what to expect.

If you are unsure whether your plan includes hearing coverage, we encourage you to call us. The NFL PAF partnership means we work with a range of insurance structures and benefit types — we are practiced at navigating coverage complexity so you do not have to.

The Bigger Point

Whether you are a former NFL player, a retired teacher, a military veteran, or someone who just noticed the TV keeps getting louder, Revolution Hearing treats every patient with the same standard of care. Expert evaluation, well-fitted hearing aids, follow-up support, and access to advanced options like Lenire for tinnitus.

The NFLPA chose us because of how we treat patients. That is what we bring to every appointment.

Schedule a hearing evaluation at Revolution Hearing in Indiana, Ohio, Virginia, or New York. Let us help you understand your hearing and your options.
